Polish Translations Service Rate
Rates for TRANSLATION are usually calculated, based on the number of source words, and my fees start from £0.085 per source word (word in the original document).
- Subject matter - is your document of a general nature, technical, or creative?
- Format - is your document easy to edit, is it handwritten, is it a photograph?
- Time frame - how urgent is your request?
- Revision - I always proofread my work, but for complex projects, I sometimes get another pair of eyes to review the document for consistency and to give you extra peace of mind.
- Certified Translations - if you need your document translated for official purposes, it has to be presented to the authorities in a specific format, signed, and stamped. The rate depends on the document, but, as a ballpark figure, I normally charge £45 for a certified translation of a birth or marriage certificate.
- If your document is very short—under 300 words—I apply a minimum fee of £35.
- I also provide translation services under legal aid at £0.085 per word, generally.

Polish Interpreting Service Rate
Rates for INTERPRETING are normally charged either in blocks or per hour, depending on the nature of the assignment.
- For assignments within the public sector (where legal aid is applicable) - I generally charge a legal aid hourly rate of £32/hr for attendance and £10/hr for travel time. If your requirement is for a FACE-TO-FACE Interpreter within London, I normally charge in 3-hour blocks for attendance plus 2-hr travel time (in London, unless the appointment is local – Wood Green, Edmonton, Enfield area where I would charge 1 hr return travel time).
- For remote interpreting - my minimum charge is for 2 hours.
- For telephone interpreting - contact me for rates, depending on your requirements.
- Non-legal aid assignments - these will depend on your requirements and can vary, so feel free to contact me for a free, fully transparent and fair quote.
- I normally have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Polish Proofreading and Transcription Service Rates
- Rates for PROOFREADING are charged per hour, and my hourly fee is £35.
- Rates for TRANSCRIPTION are charged per minute of the original audio/video and I charge £5 per minute.
